John T. Gnananesan is a highly experienced Chemistry educator with over three decades of teaching and academic leadership experience across Sri Lanka, Oman, and Saudi Arabia. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the Open University of Sri Lanka and a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Statistics from the University of Jaffna. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership positions including Head of Department for Mathematics and Chemistry, Advanced Level Sectional Head, and a member of senior management teams in international schools delivering the Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge curricula. He possesses extensive experience teaching Chemistry from IGCSE to International A Level, along with strong expertise in examination coordination, curriculum development, and teacher mentoring.
